This week I bumped up my routine to 10 reps of 90 secs. running and 2 minutes walking=15minutes of running and 20 minutes of walking. I'm basically on a slightly bigger version of couch to 5K. The first 2 weeks of the couch to 5K plan you are working out a total of 20minutes. *MY* first week was 30 minutes long (10 minutes of running and 20 minutes of walking) and my second week is 35 minutes long, so I'm feeling good and a little ahead of the game.
Week three of couch to 5K is still 90 seconds of running, but the walk time is supposed to start decreasing. I don't think I am going to decrease my walk time just yet, instead I'm going to set a new speed goal and instead of running 4.5mph I'm going to bump it to a whopping 4.7mph! If all goes well and I continue meeting my goals on the treadmill and my PT says my form is good I just may get out to the lake to train in a few weeks time.
