For some reason, I have an Urge. I want to get people to talk. Not just chat, but to give talks. It's nerve wracking at first, but a lot of fun. Moreover, I think it could help Netsoc. Our machines aren't doing anything, but that doesn't mean we couldn't be. I no longer hold any illusions of becoming a lecturer but I want to show people how to do things. I think it would make sense for people in Netsoc to share what we know with others, with no actual expectation for them to join our ranks of administrators.
I know we try to find people and groom them to be the tech-monkeys, but I just want to show cool and helpful stuff to people who may be interested. And I think it would help people overall. Overall, it would be a tiny glimmer of a pulse in a dying society.
There again, I probably only want to do this as a form of procrastination, to prevent work on study, projects or exams.
