Yamazaki Essay!
... yay for work, it makes me write? XD
I remember their first meeting pretty vividly, actually. XD If only because it was so AWKWARD. See, Yukina was a kitten at the time and Yamazaki dropped out of nowhere and rescued her from a dingo. He was able to recognize her as cursed in a matter of minutes, and was probably doing his duty as a good island citizen by taking her to a spring.
... Except he didn't know the kitten was actually female.
That led to a lot of sputtering and blushing and apologizing and he ran away before Yukina could get his name. D: So her first impression was "... H-he's nice, but I think I must have terrified him!"
Thankfully she learned his name later on and they wound up becoming good friends. It was Yamazaki who introduced her to gumdrops and the freaky little bread things with jelly that creeped her out and Yamazaki who helped her out when Kazu grew wings and kept flying away. ;;;
Best moment was probably when Yukina announced she was leaving the original cave. She was feeling INCREDIBLY guilty over the whole thing with Jim and Yamazaki, bless his awkward heart, wound up comforting her and saying some pretty deep and inspirational things. So he got hugs for the first time. XD Yukina was seriously appreciative that he'd even take the effort to try and cheer her up. It meant a lot to her.
And no bad moments, yay!
... lol I don't think Yukina has bad moments all that often, anyway. XD
So~ Yamazaki in a nutcase. Most certainly a friend. I'd hesitate to call him a brother-figure, since Yukina doesn't really see him as family, but she definitely likes him. And he's like... the only person she addresses by his last name? ... E-except Morita, but that's because she doesn't know their first names. D: SHE'LL REMEMBER TO ASK EVENTUALLY?? I think she might fluster him a bit when she gets affectionate, whoops. ;; And she finds him wise in the ways of the world/EVERYTHING ELSE SHE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND.
Aha, Yukina feels bad that everyone seems to make him be their errand boy. Don't get me wrong, she's grateful that he's helped her before, but she thinks he just needs to take time for himself instead of running around doing things for everyone else (AHAHA YUKINA YOU HYPOCRITE). She hasn't seen him lately, so she misses him and their talks. :( COME BACK, YAMAZAKI.
