Busy Day
For not leaving my yard, I have had a fairly productive, nice day. :)
After swearing to not get out of my pjs, I got into outside work clothes (i.e. short, sports bra and tennis shoes) to mow the lawn. Well, I think I broke the lawn mower because it won't start for me anymore. Oops.
So I went inside and did the dishes, cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed (the floors and windows - there were too many spiders and webs for my liking) and washed and hung the clothes. I still need to get them off the clothesline, come to think of it. Oh, I went down to the lake with the dogs and gave them a bath, as well as bathed there myself. They look so purdy now...they are all fluffy and clean. They are also worn out, sleeping at in a corner of the iving room. :) The water was so warm today! It was excellent!
after playing phone tag for two weeks, my cousin and I got to talk! Bri and I are only six weeks apart and we were very close as kids, grew apart as teens, and are now getting closer again. It's a sure sign of adulthood. :) She and her boyfriend (whom she was living with) recently broke up. In fact, they broke up shortly before Brandon and I and had been together a little longer than us. Anyway, that is not the point. The point is, I got to tell her I was moving to St. Cloud and it was a huge yay moment for both of us! She lives in Dassel, MN, which is about 45 minutes from St. Cloud. We will definitely be getting together this summer. :D
In other news, I am peeling like a motherfucker after my sunburn last weekend! I am nearly 100% Scandinavian (the part of me that is Greek is the size of palm, LOL) and therefore am whiter than white, except for now because I'm red. The tat on my right shoulder is peeling. It looks very interesting. I'm entertained by it. *stupid grin*
It looks like another long night of movies for me. :) I've finished Father of the Bride II already and am now watching Wimbledon. I swear to you, I'm going to marry Paul Bettany, with or without Jennifer Connelly's permission. :P
I shall see some of you at the chat tonight and some of you, I'm already talking to. :)
