[it's hard sometimes, to be friends with something that eats butterflies]
getting those news about my apartment really depressed me, so - a few things that made (or still make me) happy since then:
• i watched newsies (yes because of that vid) & whee, FUN! i may adore young!bale a little bit. and bill pullman is in there, ♥. i've got an unfounded love for pullman. the only downside is that i now wanna read long & plotty (and slashy) fics where jack is growing up on the streets (possibly befriending spot) and growing to be a leader.... aw, that movie! how have i not seen this before.
and i have even watched 'blood drips heavily on the newsies square' *headdesk* omg, this is so bad. a horror/behind-the-scenes movie filmed by those teenage boys. it's so bad it's sort of awesome (i'm not so sure though).
• i got a letter from my sister. i love getting letters from here, she never writes much but she draws! so awesomely too - gods i miss her, *snif* (she lives in florence/italy at the moment)
• i got an early birthday present from my mum's boyfriend. yay! it's a beautiful issue of goethe's faust (which is one of the bestest plays ever) & an AWESOME recording of the same... *happy sigh* i don't know if goethe is famous in other languages, but damn, that man wrote the most beautiful things. one of my favorite parts -

• three tasks by syllic, which is one of the most adorable merlin fics ever, has been recorded \o/ i LOVE podficced fic, and this one is pretty good, *loves*
• i rewatched the 1st seasons of life & made that picspam... i love this show & making picspams sorta makes me forget everything, it's such a calming thing to do.
• a very good friend of mine who lives in sctoland came for a visit & it was so damn good seeing her again ...i wished she would come back & live in switzerland again though :(
• st_fanart_meme. i love this meme SO MUCH. there is awesome, beautiful & hilarius stuff on there ...hopefully there will be many many more awesome fanart-thingies posted there.
• i went to the museum - there is a 'van gogh' exhibition right now, which is just beautiful. i love van gogh so much!
• by random browsing i discovered epic_recs. i'm not sure if it's as awesome as it sounds (it recs 'epic' fanfiction, i guess) - but it sounds like something i need on my flist, YAY. i love good recs, and from what i've seen already it looks promising (and there is even one 'newsies' rec, huh. *runs off to read it*)

a vid about hand/arm aputation, and it's not as cracky as it sounds! it's actually quite beautiful.

i hadn't seen this movie before, but there is young, dancing christian bale which makes everything golden. a lovely & very fun vid.

i've had this one for some time, but i forgot to rec it. this one is so EPIC & it uses a song by nightwish, which (i don't like much, but) is somehow an interesting music choice here.
