Tonight, there will be the traditional pig-in-a-can, the singing -- under variable definitions of "singing" -- of The Sun Will Come up Tomorrow, the burning of a piece of last year's Christmas tree, followed by the annual viewing of A Muppet Christmas Carol.

And the sun will come up tomorrow.
