Not sure it was worth missing NCIS for

I wanted to like "V" a lot more than I did but I found it very... bland. No real tension, no real spark, no real surprises. When I can call every plot point, they're not so much telegraphing as doing pop-up books.

I'm not sure that even anticipating Morena Baccarin eating a mouse is enough to keep me watching.

That is EXACTLY how I felt about it!

Also, was it just me or were they just skipping through time like crazy?

Not just you! I kind of felt they'd tossed pacing and said, "You all know where we're going with this so let's just get there."

NCIS was good -- we got to see one of the "boats". Sorry V wasn't that good.

The great thing about NCIS -- well, one of the great things -- is that it's "available" later. *g*

It was kind of blah, but I'll give it a few more eps to see how it goes. I liked the implication that Dick Cheney is a lizard.

Morena Baccarin is looking quite lovely though. She rocks the short hair. As for the rest of the cast - meh. (Aside from Wash). No diversity, very bland. We're supposed to believe this is NYC?

I usually allow a new show three eps to catch me but I was so un-caught last night...still haven't decided.

MB looks amazing! I was all "Yay! Alan!" then I saw his actual credit and sighed. Heavily.

And yeah, waaaaaay too bland a crew for NYC -- not only appearence but personality. You need a personality to survive in NYC. *g*
