With the walls completely constructed, the dry wall up and the floors down, the second building was just about finished as far as repairs were going. Mac had been called in to set up the second floor plumbing and rewire the electrics. Not that it was overly hard; everything was already fitted, the wiring was simple connect the ends and the plumbing

Cue the wolf whistle. Was there anything as sexy as Mac soaking wet? He wasn't so sure there was. Jesse leaned against the door jam with a great big smile. He was still in his fatigues having just come off guard duty. In passing he heard that Mac was in the renovated building but he never thought she was sitting around in a soaking wet wife beater smoking like something out of a men's magazine.

"Damn woman. You know how to make a mess." He teased with a chuckle. The aim was easygoing but it was hard for him to keep his eyes on her face right now.

Cigarette dangling between her lips, Mac looked over as Jesse spoke up, grinning around her smoke, "Fucking hot mess." There were still small puddles on the floor, most of them developing around Mac's boots and butt. She wasn't really bothered since someone else was meant to do the clean up anyway.

"You're just in time for me to finish break and help." Because it was getting stressful, getting the shower set up and then the sinks set up and then the shower busting the second the pressure was put on and between getting the pressure off and getting the shower sorted, well, it was bloody annoying.

"Seriously, anymore of this and I will resemble a drownt rat more than anything else." Anymore of this and she'd be shit out of luck with shirts, the soaked tank was her last and really, it wasn't doing much for her modesty as it was.

Ain't that the truth? God damn! He thought it but he didn't say it. He wanted to say it but the Army drilled him just deep enough to be mindful of what he said to his superiors.

"What in the hell happened in here? Why are you wet?" Jesse asked venturing further into the room. He was only mechanically inclined to a certain point. Beyond that it just looked like a lot of tools, parts and wires. So he lit a cigarette of his own and sat down next to Mac. "You should have asked for some help earlier."

Mac just shrugged slightly, a little chilled but nothing horrible life threatening. "Well, in order to make sure everything is connected right, you gotta put on the water. If the connection isn't right, which often happens because these fucking showers are a nightmare, the pressure is too much, the shower head disconnects and voilà, water everywhere." With her hand, she indicated to herself as an example of water going everywhere.

As for the help, well, he had just come of guard duty, and Ethan was still catching up with what he'd missed during 'the incident' and really, Jen didn't seem the plumbing type. "Really, it's just a whole load of trial and error. Because I hate these goddamned showers, and the stalls aren't that much better."

In her opinion, they were far too small to work in. "But hey, now you can be wrench monkey."

It made sense and it was unfortunate but he'd be lying if he wasn't just a little happy about her misfortune. Come on! Wet white shirts didn't leave much to the imagination.

"You just need me to hand you stuff?" He was wondering how he was going to help but he thought he'd have a manlier roll. Oh well, whatever the job he was happy to do it as long as there was a chance of her getting wet again. "I guess I can do that."

They really don't, and even at the best of times, Mac's not in the habit of really covering herself up. "Actually, I was planning on throwing you into the shower and making you attach the heads while I fiddle with the sink connections."

Because if she got exploded on, well, there was a chance he would and Mac was the equal opportunities type. "You can attach shower heads, right?" It really wasn't that hard, because she'd already sorted the internal plumbing and everything went to the right place. It was just getting the heads on right and making sure the pressure wasn't too strong.

"Oh hell yeah. I can handle that." He said excited that she was actually going to let him do something. Jesse flicked his cigarette and hopped right up. "You done?"

He wasn't in that much of a hurry. The longer he got to hang out with Mac the better. Though he would prefer something more fun to do then plumbing. If they get it done faster, maybe they could still hang out after.

Flicking the butt of her own cigarette, Mac pulled herself to her feet, nodding. "Yeah, I'm good."

Fixing shit up was all well and good, chilling in her garage was fine. But Ethan stopped by the garage a lot, and the Head Chef brought food by when she lost track of time. So Mac wasn't constantly working alone. So far, working on the plumbing, she'd been shooting the breeze with herself and that sucked a little. "Get in there boy and get working."

Company was always good. Good company was fucking great.

Jesse gave a very serious salute then a cheeky grin before he totted off to the showers. Less than a minute later he was back. He wasn't going to get far without a pipe wrench.

The first one went pretty well. It went on easy, the water pressure was fine. The second one was wasn't quite so simple. The fit was tighter and a bitch to get on straight without stripping the threads. The wrench slipped and he banged his knuckles. Then when he went to check the pressure he got nothing for a few seconds and then the damn thing exploded. "FUCK!" he cried dodging flying shower heads and getting soaked in the process. Okay, so maybe it was incredibly easy to get wet doing this.

At the sound of his outburst, Mac strolls over, leaning against the door frame and smirking as she turns off the water with her powers, flicking the mains off. "See, not as easy as you think." Although really, it was amusing and she had expect that this would happen.

"Want a towel?" Holding out a slightly damp towel that she'd used on her hair earlier. "At the very least, it's not freezing cold water. Which is a plus."

Dripping, he walked out of the shower and immediately sat down on the nearest toilet to take off his boots. "Nah. I'm alright. I'm just not trying to walk around in wet shoes. Come to gloat?" He chuckled and tossed his first boot near her but not at her. The second boot got the same treatment. However, his shirt was thrown directly at her. It was nice and soppy wet.

Catching the shirt, grinning slightly as the water drops hit her face and she wiped away the moisture from her face, Mac just squeezed the water from his shirt before ditching it on the floor. "Nah, you got an eye full, I'm here for mine. Fairs fair, cutie."

Seriously, that was just what she was there for.

Jesse laughed then gave her a comically sexy little turn complete with his butt poked out and model arms. At the end of it, he rubbed his nipples and blew her a kiss.
