- Set just after they've released Daken and just before the chemical release -

Ethan was in, what some would deem, a bad mood. Daken and his bloody trick had left Ethan feeling all out of sorts, trying to work out why he had been so drawn to Emma. It had to be something about the mutant, maybe a psychological trick that he was able to pull? Whatever it was Ethan was going to make sure he included a clear and obvious clause that said if he pulled a stunt like that again any time soon with Ethan or Emma that Daken would be regretting it.

But being in the brig had reminded Ethan that Braddock was at the end of her punishment, well alright with maybe a couple of days to go but he was feeling generous. She had trained every single morning with him, taking on the milder course, running circuits and meeting his demands; though occasionally he'd been forced to resist the urge to snap at her and her comebacks.

All in all he was impressed to see that Braddock had taken her punishment like a woman and not given him too much grief. He'd even revealed his mutation to her, demonstrating his strength and durability, though not their full extent. Something that few mutants knew about him around camp, heck he'd even attempted (poorly) conversation. Though all it was ever about was the camp, military and Stryker.

Unlocking the cell door Ethan leant against the doorframe and watched Braddock. "If you breach any of the rules again I swear Braddock, I'll make sure I'm not so lenient. The ban on you seeing your boyfriend is lifted though, just don't get caught fraternising."
