Jason had decided that outside was a good escape from Nicky's nagging. He truly cared for his friend but he refused to go see the doctors. He didn't feel well and was coughing but Jason was sure that it would go away on it's own. He saw Hope gesturing to herself and smiled a little. He headed toward her,"Hope."

Broken out of her thoughts, Hope paused and smiled at Jason. She hadn't seen him in quite some time.

"Hello, Jason."

"Hello Hope,"he gave her a small smile covering his mouth to cough. "It is too crazy inside yes?"

Hope instantly forgot about the chaos of the camp and tilted her head, looking closer at Jason. "How long have you had that cough?"

"For a while,"he shrugged,"It's nothing."

Jason coughed again his mouth tightly covered.

"I don't think so." She put a hand on his shoulder and pushed him back towards the buildings. "Inside with you and straight to the Med Lab. I'm going to take your temperature."

Jason was too surprised to do anything but go along with her. He hadn't had anyone just touch him like that besides Nicky in some time. "I'm fine Hope really."

"Then you've got nothing to worry about in being examined, do you?" She pointed out with annoying logic.

He was sure he could have come up with something smart to say if he hadn't started coughing again. "Fine."

Quietly pleased she had won, Hope steered Jason right to the Med Bay and sat him down on one of the beds.

"So, when did the cough start?" she asked as she started taking off all her layers so she could work.

"I've had it for a while. I just stayed in bed unless it was necessary to get up. It got a little worse after I talked with my father,"he made a face before coughing again.

"I'm guessing that means you're sick." She took out a thermometer and offered it to him. "Let's see how much. Try not to cough."

Jason took the thermometer and put it under his tongue with a nod. He didn't want to be sick.

Hope was already confident he was. She was even thinking of what sort of medication he might need. The thermometer beeping made her take it without really thinking and looked it over.

"You're going to need some bed rest, basic antibiotics and no going outside to play for at least... two weeks," she said after looking at the temperature.

He scowled a little but nodded. Jason didn't want medicine but staying in bed and not going outside was fine with him. He normally didn't go outside anyway.

She smiled. "Sorry, kiddo, but doctor's orders."

And she went to get the medicine for him, which she should probably give to his father.
