"What are you playing?" She asked, just incase this was something new she'd never heard before.

He slowly stopped and inquired. "Have you ever played before?"

"That's cool," Esme said with a grin. All her father ever did when she was upset was quote bible verses at her. More specifically, ones dealing with casting out demons. Asshole.
Flexing her fingers slightly, she began to play a cover version of 'Sing for Absolution'. She let herself play it through before turning to Atticus with a shrug and a smug smirk on her face.
"Just a little."

"Very lovely." He bent over to take a turn at playing something, something it thought she might have enjoyed. "Have you ever heard this before?"

"Oh, my God," she finally said when she calmed down enough. "That was awesome." She paused a moment, looking at Atticus. "Can I play another one of mine for you?" she asked, looking quite hopeful.

"How have you been, by the way? It's been a while," Esme asked when she was done playing, standing and stretching her wings slightly. That was only comfortable for so long.

"Y'know, in some very odd and deranged way, sometimes it reminds me of the Academy all over again with the relationship drama and all the fights and...ugh. It's frustrating." Not to mention she actually was starting to miss life at the Hellfire Club, even with Shaw being the creeper that he was.

"You think maybe that's what he wants? For all the mutants to finally go nuts and start killing each other? I mean, yeah, he has Jack. But what if that's just for the added tension?"

Atticus sighed when his thoughts ran to Hope. Her job constantly upset her, as well as the certain male doctor. Most of the time when this happened she couldn't even speak to him about it. As if she'd be in trouble. But he could tell from the guilty look in her eyes, something was wrong. "I think it's something much more deeper than that."
