He wasn't liking the whole being younger thing. The hormones were enough to kill a man when he wasn't a teenager again. At least the first go-round, he'd assumed he'd always be like that and kept it under wraps. And he was around other seventeen year olds. Now, he was around a crapload of small children and women who felt skeezy when he flirted with them.
This was not an ideal situation, and he was NOT enjoying it.
Then again, he also wasn't one to whine and complain aloud, so he just kept it to himself. As much as he could.
Brian sat in the rec room with his acoustic bass, strumming half-heartedly. He was lonely, since he was so used to being around people all the time. Making friends here had become slightly awkward, but he was tired of sequestering himself in his room. That meant more time in the Mess and the rec room. He plucked at the strings, letting them ring deeply before slapping his hand back over them, changing frets with his left hand to shift the pitch.
