Let's play ball! (OTA - nudge to Kurt as I reckon this could make for a fun game!)
The arrival of the ping-pong table had been in John's humble opinion one of the most exciting things to happen in a while in camp. Not that he'd go around telling everyone this fact, he instead had played it cool. John had avoided the rec room in hope that the interest and level of activity around the ping-pong table would die down enough so that he could have a quiet game or two with himself.
Not that John didn't mind the company but at first being able to teleport to either end and play against himself had reminded John of his childhood. Ping-pong had been something his Grandmother had taught him and along with hide and seek was one of his favourite childhood games.
But playing against yourself meant you never lost and in all honesty that in itself was rather boring!
Twirling the bat in his hand John then begun to bounce the ping-pong ball against the bat, seeing how long he could keep it up without dropping it. A silly and rather childish moment but John was entertained.
