I was wondering, how long have folks here who are currently unemployed been unemployed? I've been unemployed for two years. Yep, two years. I was wondering if that's a record or if anyone else can top that.
Another question for folks who have been unemployed for a long time - does it get harder and harder to find a job the longer you're unemployed and do you think it affects your ability to get a job if you've been laid off for an extended period? Does that gap of a year or two years in the resume make a potential employer say, "Eek! No way we're hiring this person!"
