I just got a call on my cellphone from someone who claims they saw my resume on Monster and want to offer me a "full time position".
I'm hesitant, however, because the caller mumbled through the name of the company so I couldn't get anything besides the last two words that sounded like "national income", and googling the number didn't come up with anything. Also? The caller did not mention what position it was or even what the company does.
I've had employers call me back for resumes before and they're always specific and they always leave really clear contact information.
Am I right to be suspicious here or not? Because, hells yes, I'd like a job. But something is just making my Spider sense tingle here. Like maybe this is a scam or something.
ETA: Checked it out, and oh yeah. It's a big scamola. If anyone ever calls you from "Sabrina Lloyd and Associates National Income", just hang up. It's a telemarketing/work-from-home scam.
