Fuyu no Sakura, Tonami's latest project.
On her blog Tonami announced her first regular role in a TV drama starting January! "Fuyu no Sakura" (official webpage), and boy, the plot could not be more Takarazuka-cliche if Tonami herself had written it.
Apparently the hero, a glass-blower who has never been in love, falls for a woman who lost her memory in an accident. But oh, no! She's forgotten that she has a husband and child!
Tonami isn't mentioned in the main blurb, so her part can't be all that big (she says she doesn't know what it is yet), but she is apparently in every episode so she's not going to be that small either, and the hero is played by Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, one of Japan's most popular actors. Tonami's earlier guest-starring drama role was under another very popular lead actor, and her first movie role was with another, so she's gotten wide exposure in little bits, and this will give her wider notice. Yay, Tonami!
