I think I've accomplished every other thing on my list except packing. I have to go to bed soon, in order to get up around 4 am tomorrow, and as of now, I am still not packed.
In another aisle of the Complaint and Disgrace Department, I can't move my neck lest I be paralyzed with pain. Apparently, I slept at some bizarre angle during my nap today, and mangled it somehow. Now, I have to travel tomorrow, which is, admittedly, one of the worst things you can do with a mangled neck. Tylenol, where are you?
Other things:
*I can't wait to spend this weekend with my whole entire paternal family. I'm so excited.
*My cousins are wonderful. Why can't I see them all year round?
*Erick drove all the way out here this morning, just to take me to lunch and say goodbye. Then he had to turn right back around and drive back into the city to go to work. That meant a lot to me.
*I was Errand Girl this afternoon (as usual), which started out pleasantly, but descended into exhaustion as the temperature soared upwards. I came out of it with a new disposable camera, an overpriced smoothie, groceries, and a $12.25 credit to my credit card. Woo!
*I love that I'm known around town. I know a lot of people, and even people that don't know me personally seem to recognize me, anyway. One of the advantages of living in a relatively small town.
*I ran into Bryan at the grocery store, and we talked for a while. I am so excited about Deirdre's wedding in October. He told me to RSVP for two, and "Bring this one, but if this boyfriend drifts off into the horizon by then, we'll have another one lined up for you! Remember, I have a son!" Good lord. Matchmaker much?
Anyway, I'm leaving at an ungodly hour in the morning for the airport. Mom, Dad and I are flying to Kansas City for our family reunion that happens every four years, and I think there's going to be a LOT of us there. I'll be back on Monday night, my darlings. Have a wonderful weekend!
