never gave a damn about the weather
The fact that this has been such a lovely, cool summer is only making the ridiculous heat even more intolerable. It is SO HOT right now. Normally I'm really good about exercise and healthy food and all, but when it gets this hot all I want to do is lie on my bed and eat ice cream. I even have a blender and frozen fruit against such occasions, but the idea of getting it all out is too much for me at the moment. Mostly because it involves getting up, and also walking into the kitchen, which is even hotter than it is in here. It would be the perfect day for a beach trip, but it's a mile away, and I think the walk might actually kill me. So instead I'm wallowing on my bed and feeling gross.
However. You should all know that blindmouse is a marvelous person who indulged me as I spammed her last night with emails about Brendon getting rheumatic fever in the story we're working on. Because she is awesome like that. Just thinking about it is making me feel a little less like I'm about to melt.
Somehow I have to get myself up long enough to do laundry and clean, since I'm having someone over tomorrow. If anyone has any good cleaning music they want to recommend, I'd be greatly appreciative.
