I never thought it would happen, but Roslin and Adama has been overtaken. Sara Ramirez reigns supreme.
Should I be embarrassed by some of this music? Should I have a complex that three songs are from Glee, a show I kind of learned to loath?
Well, since I'm here, I might as well champion some more music.
It goes without saying that I think everyone and their mother should listen to The Story as sung by Sara Ramirez. The original, by Brandi Carlile, is also very good, but Sara's voice is just . . . It's just. And if you listen to her version, always go with the EP version over the Grey's Anatomy version which is not even close to being as good. You should also check out a version of her singing it live because the woman is a Tony award winner and she has some serious live singing chops.

But don't think all I listen to is Sara Ramirez (even though sometimes it is). Lately I've been jamming out to a couple other songs that I think are on the verge of becoming popular (if they aren't already).

I go around all day playing these tunes, sometimes to the objection of my students. But oh well. It's kind of my trademark. My pants are a boombox. Sometimes it occasionally leads to dance parties in the halls. That's just how we roll at New Tech.
