• Abbott, J. & MacTaggart, H. (2010). Overschooled but undereducated: How the crisis in education is jeopardizing our adolescents.
• Trilling, B. & Fadel, C. (2009). 21st century skills: Learning for life in our times.
• Abbott's a huge force in BC (& UK), via his '21st century learning initiative'. Text is dreadfully shallow, conceptually thin yet agreeable.
• Trilling & Fadel are advocates of US-based Partnership for 21st Century Skills. Their idea of public schooling = incubator for capitalism.
