I've done my good deed for the day: I found a pair of fancy Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses at the bus stop this morning, and turned them into the CATS lost and found. A friend asked me why the hell I didn't keep them. What the HELL am I going to do with a pair of D&G sunglasses? Look like a fucking moron? Almost every piece of clothing I own is second-hand, thrift store, clearance rack, friend got tired of wearing it, or I stole it, hand-me-down. And I like it that way. A pair of high-class overpriced glasses would be like a clown-nose on the tainted and artfully marred edifice that is Tea's General Being.
Honestly. I have an image to uphold.
Plus I'm like a super nice person and stuff.

I was realizing there's only two months left of this year, which has easily been the craziest ever in my life, so I thought I'd make a list of all the new or exciting things that have happened to me. You know, like you do.
Exciting Events in 2006: The Year of Teasus:
- First time being promoted and given a raise.
- First time seeing a live vaginal birth, front-row seats, right next to the father.
- First time traveling to Canada and roadtripping across Newfoundland.
- First time cutting hair short in all my twenty-three years of life.
- First time doing something very illegal (if a thing can be VERY illegal, instead of just plain ol' against the law).
- First time being published-- and five times, at that.
- First time getting vomitting-can't-remember-what-happened-in-pirate-bar-last-night drunk. (Repeat twice.)
- First time invited to threesomes on regular basis (and first time declining on regular basis).
- First time losing cell phone and whimisically meeting the Cute Actor Boy™.
- First time on actual real cellphone plan.
- About fifth time telling boy I like him, and having it not reciprocated. Hey, it happens once a year or so. Gotta keep with tradition. But we're friends, so I'm happy.
- First time living completely alone in own apartment.
- First ninja-pirate party!
- First time meeting one of my favorite authors.
- First time at New Orleans House of Blues.
- First time seeing Nightmare Before Christmas in 3-D!
- First time losing a loved one.
I'm probably leaving some stuff out. You should all make lists.
Been a wild ride. But hey, two months left, at the end of which I will no longer be a college kid!
Let's boogie.
