My expedition to the fish market has proven profitable. I have taken posession of several serviceable blades, more than I need, but enough, perhaps, to be of assistance to the rest of the community. It is a byproduct of oil. Made up of polymers primarily consisting of carbon and hydrogen, in the history of Earth That Was. In modern society, what can be found is silicon-based.

Plastic. Found in museums that cannot find or afford anything more interesting to grace their displays. Oil is a non-renewable resource not found on most planets and moons. Obsolete.
