wild New England

Some of you may remember a year or two ago, when there was a massive ice storm throughout my state (and some surrounding states). It knocked out power for a long time, in the middle of winter, and a lot of people were cold and pissed.

Well... It's happened again. Only this time it was a wind storm, not an ice storm, which I suppose makes things just a tiny bit better, since we don't have a hard, glittering casing of ice all over everything. But there is no power in my home, and I am now parked in a Panera Bread with my mom. We've been here for a long time, and so far no fat keimaomi have come to hassle us. It's been pretty busy though, of course.

I'm probably going to my friend N.'s house tonight, to park on her sofa. After the weekend I'll camp out at school, as it looks like it will take a good long time for the power to be restored.

I've been conlanging for much of the time here, coming up with new vocabulary. kagejim complains that my words are too long. Onoez. I've been trying to keep them short, but a lot of them are combo words, which makes it tricky.

Ah well. I'll be keeping at it until I can actually write again. Stupid brain...
