Aside from applying a (reduced, even) film-simulator effect to this, this is basically straight out of camera. Visual evidence aside, I didn't go crazy on the saturation or anything like that. It really was a hugely contrasty, hugely shiny, lit-up, saturated (and rainy) scene.
Rainy day. Would have had some really nice rainy-day activities with going down to the village to catch a showing of all the Oscar-nominated animated shorts, but it was sold out. Total drag. Wound up doing some bargain shopping on 57th, trying (and failing) to avoid the big rain. Turned out pretty good even with plans being a little screwy.
