Jr was just minding his own business, enjoying the island now that the volcano had quieted down a bit, there was no ash left hanging in the air or strange smells. He ran down to the beach, needing a nice dip now that there was a chance to.
He dove in, a few swift strokes taking him to where he could barely touch the sea floor. Jr looked up at the sun on the water, not even noticing the slight sheen nearby. The first sign he knew something was wrong was the pain shooting up his leg. He did his best to get out of the water, screaming when he finally got back to shore.
