Summary: Soubi awakens on the beach, without Ritsuka. Worried, he starts to look for him.
Pain; his head was throbbing and his body ached. Even so, he didn't make a sound as he slowly sat up. The world tilted slightly and he quickly shut his eyes, waiting for everything to settle again before he re-opened them. He was on a beach. Dark but clear blue, froth-edged water washed up only a foot away from where he was before receding. He watched the water for a moment before he lifted to a stand. He was covered in sand, but he didn't bother to brush any of it off. Instead, he turned and called out, "Ritsuka!" His Sacrifice wasn't around, although his coat was missing... Ritsuka had his coat. He'd given it to the young boy since it had been chilly out. They'd been in a battle. The opposing pair had managed to restrain them. Then, he wasn't sure what happened. A spell he'd never heard before. He'd grabbed Ritsuka to shield him, so where was he?
Starting to walk, Soubi looked around the night-shrouded beach, strides purposeful. He had to find him.
