Nagi came back into the hut after classes, heading right into the kitchen to get some ice to put on his face. His skin was really tender, and he knew a good bruise was forming where Crawford had backhanded him.

Citan was in the living room, reading a book, when Nagi came in. Seeing where the boy was headed, he marked his page, got up, and followed him into the kitchen.

Nagi ignored the presence he felt following him, grabbing an ice pack he kept in the freezer and pressing it to his face.

"Would you like me to take care of that?" Citan asked.

Nagi turned around quickly, looking away when he saw it was Citan there.

"I won't ask any questions other than who did it, if you don't want to tell me," Citan assured him.

"Duo was there. Everyone will know." Nagi was still looking away, "Crawford."

Citan was slightly confused. "Who is that?"

"Guy who found me." Nagi turned, leaving the ice pack on for now. At least he wasn't able to feel his face much now.

Citan nodded, knowing full well how impressionable that could be on a young mind. "Would you like me to heal that for you?" he offered again.

"Doesn't matter." Which it didn't really, not to Nagi. It was enough for Crawford to backhand him.

Citan summoned his Arcane abilities and used Sazanami.

Nagi blinked, letting the ice pack down for now. It felt almost like things were healing, under the numbness.

"That should at least make the redness and bruising fade and the pain stop."

"...yeah..."

"It'll likely still be tender for a few days, however."

Nagi shrugged, "Normal."

"Would you like to talk?" Citan offered.

"Dunno."

"This 'Crawford'... Would he hurt anyone else around here? Should I make sure the first aid station is fully stocked?"

Nagi shrugged, "Only if they cross him enough. He won't act unless there's something in it for Schwarz. He might fight Abyssinian or Alberich because they would fight or spar with him."

Citan nodded.

"Omi-kun might end up rattled. Don't know how much he remembers."

Citan nodded, having thought about Omi himself. "What do you mean by 'how much he remembers'?"

"His memory has been messed with a lot since he left our world."

Citan nodded, knowing this. "Has he been here before, then?"

"The desert some of us were in before here." Nagi shrugged, "I don't think Crawford remembers that."

Citan nodded.

"Anything else?"

"Not unless you want to tell me anything," Citan said, sticking with his promise.

Nagi shook his head.

"Alright, then."

Nagi headed back to his room quickly, to get out of there and make sure no one asked him more questions.
