[mod] :: [cleanup time]
Okay. I did some thinking, and I apologize to any mod not named temperamental for not consulting with them ahead of time, but given the messy situation right now (with several prize posts late, the cluster of masteries generated by changes in event badges, two missing mods), I felt we'd go insane trying to clean up if we didn't do this:
Most official posts are now temporarily closed.
The only post that remains completely open are sign-ups. All other posts (ALL prize posts, card exchange, card fairies, card shop, certificate redemption, event card redemption, event badges, level-ups) are closed.
I didn't mention masteries because, while masteries are ALSO closed, they can still be claimed. What this means is basically that you can claim your masteries for timestamp purposes, but they won't be processed until the post opens again (this means you're free to edit your choice cards, but please don't rape catfight's inbox).
IN OTHER WORDS: All official duties are put on hold until we've eliminated 100% of the backlog.
This tentatively lasts until I return next week's Saturday (February 2nd); mods are free to reopen their own posts if they so wish once they've gotten rid of backlog. The only post I ask remains untouched until I come back is masteries, since that ties in with event badges, which brings me to the next point!
The changes in event badge regulations/prizes will take effect once the post reopens. What this means is that for every mastery achieved BEFORE the post reopens, old prizes and regulations will still apply. This should take care of the problem of several people being unable to claim their masteries yesterday due to official posts being late. :3
The exception to the above: chain masteries obtained with choice cards from mastery claims. Since mastery claims won't be processed until the post reopens, this means that those choice cards won't be gotten until then, and in turn it means the mastery isn't achieved until then. Thus if you master a new deck with choices from your masteries, the mastery for those decks will fall under the new event badge rules.
I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, but at least without any new requests coming in we can deal with the backlog in an appropriate manner. I also realize this may cause a boom when the posts reopen, so please have patience if they don't all reopen immediately after the other. XD;
As for prize claims - you can still contribute. Keep your contribution links handily saved and please claim everything in a single comment once each post reopens. That'll make it cleaner and quicker for us.
If any other mods take issue with this please let me know. :O You're all allowed to reopen your own posts if you wish, but all of the above definitely holds true for all posts handled by myself, Junny (temperamental), Li (feuillant) and Riry (ririkit) since the last two are MIA.
