Good evening/morning members of tcg_exchange!
The winner of the fourteenth competition is now going to be announced. There were quite a few good entries and quite a few interesting ideas. However, with that being said, I choose the cards I did for different reasons and eliminated some because they did not follow the specific design of an event card. First off, no event cards do not NEED to have a white background, that was just something that happened and mostly stayed that way. Also, cards that have spacing between the letters were eliminated because they did not follow the previous event cards. The rest were fine.
First Place will recieve their own SPECIAL event card deck and the runner up's card will be placed in a set along with all the other event cards chosen. For the participants, if I liked your event card your event card will be placed in the event card set along with the runner up. However, if I feel that it might need a name change, I will ask you first.
First Place - fiendie
MEANING: I chose this image for two reasons:
1) Villains are sometimes called black hats
2) A stereotypical villain is a little pale man with a goatee and swirly mustache, wearing a black cloak and a black top hat. Out of all these characteristics, I think the hat is best suited for a card.
VALUE: can be exchanged for one normal or special card featuring a villain (except puzzle deck cards)
Runner Up - tezuka_zone_pot
MEANING: The image shows one of Sakura's scattered feathers (memories) which Syaoran, Kurogane, Mokona and Fai are trying to regather as they travel through different worlds and dimensions.
VALUE: Can be exchanged for any Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle cards
Winning Prize: 1 S cert, 5 random cards and 1 NEW event cards that hasn't been released yet [different than last week's]. This event card will be released for the next event card set.
Runner Up Prize: 1 A Cert and 5 random cards. This event card may possibly be released in the next event card set.
Participation Prize: 4 cards
