Free sushi!
Yesterday I went to this exclusive grand opening party at a new restaurant on Sunset called Sushi Dan and it was free sushi all night! It was nuts - there must've been hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of sushi lined up at the buffet, and it kept coming, and coming. There was live music, and a pretty good bar (the bartender was the guy who worked at BUZZ coffee downstairs O_o ). I've been at Sushi Dan in the daytime, when it's pretty slow and quiet, but this place totally transforms into a swanky, dim-lighted social scene at night. I've never eaten so much sushi....ever. That's it for sushi for at least a good six months....
Rey and I had to agree while waiting on some spicy tuna rolls at the sushi bar, "This is what it must feel like to be in heaven."
I drank a good amount of alcohol - sake, asahi, and a margarita, but I wasn't tipsy at all. I think all the fish I ate absorbed it. Haha. Some of my friends had been drunk since 12 noon. Tracy and I burned a heck of a lot of calories laughing at everyone . Drunks are so entertaining. It was hilarious....
A great way to celebrate a closing on the condo and the end of the week....
And yes, that is a roll of toilet paper in my hand. Haha.
