Birthdays and other randomness
Apparently, September 25th is a very popular day to be born. I logged into facebook this morning to discover that I had SIX friends with birthdays today! None yesterday, none tomorrow or the next day, but SIX today! Pretty crazy.
I saw an awesome bumper sticker on my way in to work this morning. It said: "What Would Scooby-Do?", and it had me ACTUALLY laughing out loud!
I am SO excited to actually have two days to sleep in this weekend! It's been three weeks since the last time that happened, which was Labor Day weekend. And the sleep is SORELY needed, believe me :-P
I heard a crapload of awesome '90s music and some awesome newer music on my way to work this morning, including TWO Ace of Base songs ("The Sign" and "Don't Turn Around"), Spin Doctors ("Little Miss Can't Be Wrong"), Barenaked Ladies ("One Week"), Rob Thomas ("Ever the Same"), Uncle Kracker ("Smile"), Sheryl Crow ("Every Day is a Winding Road"), Plain White T's ("1, 2, 3, 4") and several others which I'm forgetting now. No wonder I look forward to my commute every day!
