I don't usually do these things, but I wanted to share this one with you all! It's not really a recipe per se, but it's a snack (that can also be lunch or even dinner in a pinch) that I've been making pretty often lately, which is quick, easy, healthy AND fun! I've been making my own trail mix from whatever's in the pantry. Usually this entails some combination of any or all of the following ingredients:
Honey-roasted peanuts
Craisins
Golden raisins
Cheerios
Chocolate chips
I usually put in a higher proportion of Cheerios than anything else, but you can vary the amounts/proportions however you like!
Put all the ingredients in a ziploc baggie (I usually just dump them in by the handful, no exact amounts or anything), close it but DO NOT squeeze the air out, then shake/toss/throw around (hehe) to mix it up. Re-open the baggie, and enjoy by the handful! :)
