Speaking as a committee member I thought it might be appropriate to remind you that if our efforts had been to disenfranchise all the "greens", we never would have approved 80% of all appeals yesterday. you know the whole reason why you guys started this thing was because you were afraid that the greens would try to "take over the dems" when in actuality, we wanted to just do our own thing and hopefully have a working relationship with the dems. But, since the exec board was so afraid of losing their control over the organization, they decided to pass that bylaw under everyone's noses to take away the rights of it's members that might not vote in their favor. and now, you guys have caused a shitstorm because you pissed people off. None of this would've happened if you guys would've just left things alone, but unfortunately power makes people do stupid things.
To tell you the truth David, I never thought you'd turn into one of them. And it sucks that you were put in a hard position, but you could've changed things and you didn't. You did this to people who considered you a good friend. I'm sorry, but you turned into a suit.
the fact that you are even making people appeal to "prove their loyalty" to the dems is bullshit. Hmmmm...a loyalty oath...sounds a bit like something a Republican would do, doesn't it? and furthermore, so what if 80% of the appeals were approved? You still disenfranchised members who worked their ass off for the Democrats and still plan to support democrats in the future. You guys are pushing away people that are trying to help you guys. I really hope that if and when you're a politician one day, you don't try to pull this kind of shit on anyone else, because it will come back to you ten fold.

Ok, so a party having a fear of another party coming in and trying to take over isn’t a legitimate fear? After all, its not like continuing to spread the Democratic ideology in the Democratic Party is important, is it? And its not like you guys were continuing to come to disrupt meetings, flicking us off, attacking us in posters, or attacking us on a personal level. After all, we are all trying to JUST retain power and keep control of the organization. The only problem is that you HAVEN'T left the organization. You insisted upon joining a new political party, and then insisted upon voting in OUR elections. Would you really want College Republicans coming into our club and determining the direction of the Democratic Party? Well, would you have wanted that before you became party-confused? Because I can tell you that I think it's a really dumb idea. I would never expect to vote in their elections, or in yours. A "working relationship" is kind of synonomous with participatory status, but that isn't what you guys want. You want to continue to threaten members of our organization, in their own HOMES and elsewhere, you want to continue to write things like "fuckyouguys@hotmail.com" on our attendance sheets, you want to continue to walk out of meetings and be disruptive and make obcene gestures to general body members that have NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. we discussed in my appeals meeting what I thought about the dems as a whole and the reason I wanted to start the FSU Greens. If you really want me to repeat everything I said to you there, or ya know, draw some more diagrams for you, I would be more than happy to. Seeing as though I'm pretty sure you're a somewhat intelligent human being, I really doubt that I'll have to spell this out for you.
as for threatening you guys in your own homes....ummmm....yyyeeeaaaahhh. what is your idea of a threat. If saying "Fuck you guys" is a threat to someone's life, than you really need to sort some stuff out "upstairs" if ya know what I mean.
I don't plan on ever getting along with you or many other of the dems at the moment, and I wouldn't be lying if I said I couldn't really give 2 shits.
I think it's really sad that you think that about me, especially since you've never actually sat down and had a conversation with me. It also makes me sad to hear you say that, because out of all of this, I always thought you wouldn't be the one to personally attack anyone, because I always saw you as being a genuinely good person.
