RTD - The Writer's Tale

Oct 07, 2008 13:50

I just got my copy of The Writer's Tale by Russell T Davies! It's effing HUGE!

I've just been leafing through it for now, but I have to say I love all the new pictures and RTD's artwork is brilliant. And I feel like crying when looking at the pictures of the cast and crew in Rome... For those who have the book, pg 278, for those who don't, we can see DT and Jenny Fava in Piazza San Pietro, cast and crew having dinner at a restaurant, DT with an ice cream cone in hand... So close, and yet so far, and to think I didn't even know about Doctor Who when they were there! Think, aschicca, you could have just walked past them on the street without knowing...

I've already skipped to the end and had a look at the temporary excerpts of script from Journey's End... Rose hugging and talking a bit with Jack, and the Bad Wolf Bay scene, with all its transformations... I can't wait to see the extras in the DVD boxset.

I'm really glad I bought this book.
Okay, now I'm going to start from the beginning!
