Tonight was a pannel on Isriel and Palestine. It was well done. I don't know where I stand on that issue, I think both parties could be better, there are faults on both sides. But as far as taking a side, right now I won't. I need more information. Movie at Tony's house. Velvet Goldmine. It was intense, but a really good movie. Connell's in town, I ( Read more... )

It's not good to think that he can die at any moment....he's in the Navy?? My guys a Marine and he's been in Iraq since October. He's still alive and was part of the whole Fallujah take-over and elections and such....he's doing fine and he's been in it 100% of the time.....I don't think that being in the Navy (if that's what he's in) could cause him to die anytime so easily...maybe if he was in the middle of all the crap in Iraq....but is he?

A flag, a fucking flag, that's what the government gives you if they cause your child or friend to die. A fucking flag. I'd rather have my friend.

Amen....on top of that if you were a national guard or reservist and you were wounded in Iraq you are not covered by the military medical insurance, men who fought and were injured in a unprovoked attack, in the eyes of the government, aren't as important as career military. Not to mention the current problems with North Korea, Bush is going to cause a nuclear holocaust with his ignorance! I'm very proud of Israel and Palestine with their attempts to come to a peaceful agreement. The crazy part of the whole fighting between Palestine and Israel is that its over mutual religious sites and their equal unwavering resolve to have complete control of those "holy sites".
