hello
i promised dan a long, hot, steamy, juicy LJ entry. so i'm updating, but i'm afraid it's going to be sorely lacking in both steam and juice. sorry dan.
today i had an art history quiz and it was...um...a bit difficult. or i think i was just really tired, or something. i was kind of annoyed because my TA said the questions would focus on our most recent reading, but really there were only two questions from the recent stuff - everything else was old. grrrrrr. i reallyreallyreally wish i had known that...oh well.
then i had comp sci lab, in which i made some sort of applet that mimics a digital clock when you type in numbers. or something. it doesn't actually have a purpose. like most of our labs.
and then i came back and watched movies. because i'm super-tired. i finished watching goldmember, which i started last weekend in beaufort, and then started trainspotting, which i've been wanting to see for a while. it's intriguing. and the only other thing i have to do tonight is some spanish homework. nice. but why does it have to be so frickin' rainy????????
tomorrow some native american student organization is making navajo tacos on central campus. YUM. i haven't had one of those since i went to arizona in, like, 1998. so we better go. because navajo tacos are amazing and well worth a trip to the sketchy ghetto that is central.
by the way, i'm staying at george washington university for the summer while i'm working at npr. i have a single and my dorm is two blocks from the white house. therefore, i fully expect all of you to come and visit me, especially those of you who live in the DC area (ahemJAKEahem). i'm told the building has a rooftop deck that is perfect for watching the fireworks over the mall on the fourth of july. HOT.
if i'm lucky, this weekend will include a trip to northgate, and if i'm really lucky, it will be southpoint instead. hopefully. i just need to go to old navy so i can buy (even more) flipflops.
rain = not cool. especially because this campus DOES NOT DRAIN. like at all.
this depressing weather is perfect for just sitting on my bed wasting time thinking about random things. and possibly listening to some over-the-top emo, lol. which is what i'm off to do...........now.
