ooh this is detailed. Thanks!

Taking notes on the animes that you like, we'll probably have some similar interests. I've been seeing more and more about the Hazbin/Helluva Boss series so some algorithm must think I'll enjoy it. Never heard of Owl House and now I need to watch it. Currently I've been badgered into watching The Seven Deadly Sins, so maybe once I've ridden that horse into the ground.

If it's ok I'd probably just refer to you by your username here or on DW. Cannot trust myself to remember all of your other, uh, titles haha.

Will have to remember to document my thrifting more thoroughly for your sake (I see that you like thrifting/treasure hunting.) As part of traveling all over, one of the coolest things I get to so is visit thrift and antique stores all over! I don't often find things to actually BUY, but I do find a lot of interesting stuff!

Thanks again for the insight!

No worries. I could be wrong but I think when you "subscribe", the page refreshes and give you more options...friending, mail notifications, etc are supposed to come up in a dropdown (see: https://flic.kr/p/2pybUQ8), but sometimes that doesn't happen. In that case going to settings and add/remove friends will let you just check a box next to the name of the person you've subscribed to.

The other best option is to get to the Manage Subscriptions page for the individual person (not the bulk-manage page). Don't ask me how to do that though if you haven't subscribed to them first.

Gotcha. I've never done it manually so no idea why it would remove a subscription automatically if you add someone as a friend. That might be a bug report to send; I do send them bug reports when I come across things like that, and they are pretty responsive! It seems to be a small crew running this site ( ... )

I'm pretty sure they read my blog (LJ staff.) I've seen a few others who post regularly, and get a moderate amount of traffic, get comments from two accounts that I'm pretty sure are LJ admins, and mine does now too (it's a fairly new thing for me.) I think that might mean they are more responsive if I send them a support issue? Who knows ( ... )
