I'm going to put pictures of Barcelona on my next update, I haven't done it before and don't have enough time now. If you want to see them now then you will have to go to my photobucket which is wildoneforever. I think they are reasonably good. I really love my digital camera, it's nice to have pictures of people. Haven't done much since I came home from Barcelona. Been into town twice with my mum - got a nice top from Mango, jacket from Primark and a winter coat from tkmaxx £106 down to £40 so I'm happy! Also was in town with my brother to get his birthday present, now he has gone back to Aberdeen, and town with Claire Currie. Oh I also got Helen's present - remind me to give that to you next time I see you!
My desk is a mess at the min and I know I should sort it out but I'm too lazy! It's got so much important stuff on it - letters from Bath, exam boards, insurance, Student Finance etc... It even has a calculus textbook on it. My dad found on the Bath Maths website a complete worklist on one of the courses I'm doing this semester with the booklist. He just happened to have the relevant textbook. I think he wants me to have it finished before I even get there! Oh.. speaking of Student Finance, when you applied and got your artid no. etc did your parents also get one? And was it different to your own?? I think they have messed mine up. My mum and my dad have got about 6 letters each from them.
Bought my Bluetones ticket last night for Glasgow. So excited!!!! Can't believe I'm actually going to go see them! I thought my mum would be against the idea of me leaving during term-time but now she's decided I should stay for more than one day and make the most of it, see Katherine and Helen, go shopping etc and who cares about the lectures. So just to warn you Katherine, I may be staying on your floor for more than one night!
Today my mum and I walked to Botannic Avenue to visit the bookshops. Was in Cancer Research and bought nice hardback copy of Jane Eyre and Jill Mansell - Open House. Then went to War on Want (via Clements for hot chocolate) and bought Jane Austen - The Watsons and Nora Roberts - Inner Harbour. Then went to Oxfam books and got Charles Frazier - Cold Mountain and Peter Dickinson - Hindsight. I love books! Between us we got 8 books for just over £11. The Peter Dickinson book was for 25p! I have no room to put them on my bookshelves though.
We have to meet up! I haven't seen people since Barcelona, and anyway I have to give Helen her birthday present!
