Abby strained to see him over the heads of the crowd. She took two more slow steps forward and he was finally in view. She needed to be closer. Why did it feel like the music was playing twelve times slower than it should be? They called this a wedding march?
Connor spotted her then, his smile brighter than the sun.
They had dreamed of this in the Cretaceous but never thought it would happen. They had fought through so much to get here.
