Update
Just so every one knows, ('cause I totally meant to post this yesterday, but ran out of time and energy) I'm now home from the hospital. YAY \o/\o/\o/\o/ I'm on some hefty antibiotics and bed rest for the remainder of the week. I don't have a lot of energy, but duh, I have pneumonia. LOL!
We had Papa's wake last night. He looked pretty good, but man it is so obvious when the spirit and soul have left the body. He had a flag drapped over his casket. That was beautiful. No offense to all my Brit friends, but I love the American flag. (OK, the Union Jack is cool too. ;-) ) It always make me feel so much pride and patriotism. On either side of the casket they had another American flag and a, very appropriate, Navy flag. He would have liked that. He was a navy guy through and through.
His funeral is today, and this is probably the only thing I'll be leaving the house for in the next few days. That means lots of time, when I have the energy, on the computer, either grading (YUCK!) or reading/writing more fanfiction. ( \o/ ) Hopefully *hint hint* *nudge nudge* that means I'll have something to read. I know several of y'all have WIP's so get writing. Hehehehehehe. Just kidding.
Thanks for all y'alls kind word and thoughts over the last several days. They really have helped. I appreciate it.
