Kobra had never seen snow in his life. Not that he had ever felt a particular urge to do so; in the hot desert days he was much more likely to dream of buckets full of ice cubes than snow. Though he would've taken it, if ice cubes weren't available

When someone spoke behind him Kobra flinched, then flailed when he nearly lost his balance, attempting to turn around too quickly and draw his gun. Instincts are hard to strip off.
In the end he managed (gracelessly) to turn around without falling down, hand on the way to his raygun when he realised it was Gwen behind him. "Oh," he deflated, feeling stupid for reacting like this now. Especially in front of her.

There's a crack and Kobra almost looses his balance as the ice breaks under one of his feet. "Motherfucking drac shit," he mutters and pulls his leg back up, now soaking wet and hissing when a sharp piece of ice scratches against his leg. What fucking shit. Kobra huffs and pulls a face when his soaked boot squelches when he finally steps of the ice.

"I'm not going to fall in. It's ice!" he points out the obvious, completely ignoring that he's got no experience with ice and lakes at all.

"Not when it's barely frozen over, and not right at the water's edge."
