Willow looked mildly amused when she replied, smiling at the look on Glitch's face, even though she was a bit worried about him. If it really was hamster-related, she wasn't sure it would be a good thing.

Sob, sorry for the downer, Glitch. Willow is just not one for taking things like this as good omens. Not from the hamsters.

"I'm just about positive it is," he lied. "Last time it was only a week which is pretty typical for things that happen."

Ah, the ongoing plans for escaping or otherwise affecting the environment. It's so cute when they're hopeful about that.

Having someone else to talk to about this sort of thing would just make Willow's life here in Taxon so much nicer. And she looks pretty excited about the prospect, too!
