Sol spends his first night in Taxon at Leila's apartment, but after that he's back in the forest, sizing up the space of the land around his greenhouse and making a few rough estimates of how much of a pain in the ass it's going to be to live there. The conclusion he comes to is very simple: it's like he said to Leila, if he's going to be here then he needs to expand. That part isn't really a problem - there are some very creative things he can do with trees and plants already growing here that'll provide him very neatly with a new house entirely - but even the best Verbena can't make a kitchen stove or a toilet out of leaves.

(It's early to think of this, too, but if he has no choice about whether he stays or goes- it's not as though he has anything better to be doing right now, bar sizing up the place for how difficult it'll be to escape. Flexing his thaumaturgical muscles isn't a bad start, when you look at it like that, so really he's being practical on a number of levels.)

Either way, he buttons up a wool coat and puts the plans he's already begun sketching out in the briefcase he'd left in the guesthouse a week ago, heading out of the forest for the nearest link station. He's not walking all the way across the city if he doesn't have to, and Leila's apartment is inconveniently located more or less directly opposite his waterfall-adjacent forest clearing.

He takes his time about it, committing the pathways of Taxon to his memory and keeping an eye out for anyone that isn't a fucking Extra.
