"All these decorations seem a bit...pointless."
Or so they did from the point of view of someone who had never come into contact with this sort of holiday before; after all, the only holiday the Jedi Order even recognized (as a whole, as the members of some species still indulged in the traditions of their homeworlds) was Republic Day, something that went hand in hand with their being guardians of the Republic. But this holiday, this Christmas as she'd heard it referred to over the tablets, made no sense to her. A holiday set in the mists of months plagued with snow where people indulged in songs and gave presents to one another? To someone from another galaxy, the concept was so...alien, even if Siri herself was quite thoroughly Human if one ignored the Force-user aspects.
Siri stood near one of the tram depots, more curious about the tinsel and lights and wreaths and odd looking plants that covered the station than she was determined to board one of the cars that carried people around Taxon. As pointless as it all seemed, she couldn't help but feel rather fascinated by it all.
