The Hack residence had been more than adequate as a hideout, but Eric wasn't just going to sit on his hands and wait. Since relocating, he had gone back periodically, checking up on the nest from a distance. But something was off today

"What's happened?" Nothing in Eric's tone, expression, or message spoke of good things, and Godric was immediately alert.

Eric looked down at Godric, as close to worried as he let himself get where others could see. He kept to Swedish, not sure who was listening. "Jag kan icke sinne Pam. Hon er inte reagerande till min telefonsamtalen."

[TRANSLATION: I can't sense Pam. She's not responding to my calls.]

Godric's jaw tightened. He had feared something like this. Pam hadn't appeared at Cassie's house, and there was only so long she would have stayed away, blowing off steam. That time had come and gone.

"Er där en någon bevis mördaren...?" He didn't finish the sentence. There were any number of things the Slayer could have done, all of which arrived at the same conclusion, none of which needed to be contemplated too closely.

["Is there any evidence the Slayer...?"]

"Nej, jag rättvis tanken den klok till starta med det en vem redan försökt till döda en." He immediately regretted snapping at Godric, but this was Pam they were talking about.

There was the fact that if Pam could be taken out, they all had something to worry about. But it was also the fact that there hadn't been a time where Eric had called her that she'd just been there. It was incredibly disturbing.

["No, I just thought it prudent to start with the one who already tried to kill one of us."]

"JAG förstå," Godric said soothingly. He didn't blame Eric for snapping; Godric would be equally snappish or worse if Eric had suddenly vanished, not long after an attack.

"Komme igen. Om vad du rädsla är sann, vi er starke tillsammans." Godric only wished he could be more comfort to Eric, but there was little that could soften the blow of losing a child.

["I understand." "Come back. If what you fear is true, we are stronger together."]

Eric fumed silently for a moment, before turning to walk back to Cassie's. He didn't plan to go there straightaway, though. Not without breaking a few things. He knew it wouldn't do any good, but damned if he cares about that right now.

"Om de er ansvarig för den här, vi har till slå till dem. Fort och hård."

["If they're responsible for this, we have to hit them. Fast and hard.]

Godric could feel Eric's rage and frustration and it fueled some of his own. Silently, he debated whether or not he should find Eric, meet him halfway, rather than waiting for him to return. Godric was no mother hen, and Eric could take care of himself...but then again, he would have said the same about Pam.

Ultimately, he tempered his concern, deciding to wait and give Eric his space. If something went wrong, Godric would feel it.

"Avgjord. Utom första vi må vara bort säker de er ansvarig," He cautioned softly. There was no justice system in Taxon, and murder wasn't something that could be allowed to slide. But if they jumped the gun, and it turned out Pam had met with some other misfortune, it would be a disaster.

["Agreed. But first we must be sure they are responsible."]

"Den er inte liksom om där er någon annars, Godric," he snorted in irritation. Eric continued walking, silently receiving Godric's concern. When he looked down at the feed next, there was the slightest shade of worry on his face.

"Jag vill bli böter," he said quietly.

Eric was more than aware at the lack of law in Taxon. After this, however, he was very much inclined to impart his own brand of justice upon the population.

["It's not as if there's anyone else, Godric."]

"Vi icke gör det ändå veta allting angående detta ställe, eller envar i sin." There were few options, but Godric wanted to be sure Eric wouldn't do anything rash. Though he was as prone to immediate action as Godric was prone to quiet contemplation, Eric was no dunce. He didn't become a Sheriff by jumping to conclusions and making mistakes. But Pam's loss was not business as usual.

Godric nodded, acknowledging Eric's reassurance, even if he didn't entirely believe it.

["We don't yet know everything about this place, or everyone in it."]

Damn it. It was a good thing that someone was still here to keep some kind of rein on Eric, else he might have done something rash and regrettable. But right now, he really wishes there wasn't.

"...Böter. Jag vill vänta. För nu. Utom jag vill inte sitta latheten vid så vi er plockat bort en alen."

["...Fine. I will wait. For now. But I will not sit idly by as we're picked off one by one."]

"Jag skulle inte vänta du till. Vi vill gör vad. än är nödvändig." He hoped that the Slayer hadn't been foolish enough to kill Pam, otherwise Godric wouldn't be able to hold Eric back from all-out slaughter. Nor would he want to. But Godric had had his fill of death. In some part, he was even glad he hadn't killed anyone the night Fangtasia burned, though he had no regrets regarding his actions.

["I would not expect you to. We will do whatever is necessary."]

"Jag vill hålla du till så pass. Jag vill bli rygg inne en medan. Om Jag nöd du, jag vill kalla."

Eric just needed to let off some steam before heading back to a house where they were only guests. He doubted Cassie would like to come home to a few demolished rooms.

["I'll hold you to that. I'll be back in a while. If I need you, I'll call."]
