Eric looked down at Godric, as close to worried as he let himself get where others could see. He kept to Swedish, not sure who was listening. "Jag kan icke sinne Pam. Hon er inte reagerande till min telefonsamtalen."

Godric's jaw tightened. He had feared something like this. Pam hadn't appeared at Cassie's house, and there was only so long she would have stayed away, blowing off steam. That time had come and gone.

"Er där en någon bevis mördaren...?" He didn't finish the sentence. There were any number of things the Slayer could have done, all of which arrived at the same conclusion, none of which needed to be contemplated too closely.

There was the fact that if Pam could be taken out, they all had something to worry about. But it was also the fact that there hadn't been a time where Eric had called her that she'd just been there. It was incredibly disturbing.

Oh, joy of joys. That's precisely what Buffy needs, Eric growling at her over the tablets, though she should probably be grateful he hasn't done worse-- well, yet.

She's currently in her kitchen, making coffee-- possibly the most innocuous activity in the world. "Eric. So nice to hear from you. You wanna specific that up for me a little?"

...because there really are any number of colossally stupid things she could've done recently, and she needs to consult a list.

She presumed this was supposed to intimidate her, so naturally her response was to be as casual as possible. There was genuine cluelessness in her expression as she replied, however.

"...and I would know this why?"

Ninety-nine per cent of the time, Eric's sarcasm is dry and condescending. Tonight, it's sharp enough to slit a throat with, and that sort of idea is looking pretty damn good to him at the moment.
