I almost got tricked...
...by the woman of the project planning department! :/
Yesterday I called them informing about how many vacation days I've left so I can decide whether I will take up my holiday leave or move the shifts.
As they're desperately needing extra people to cover the extra work (World Championship, warm weather, holiday) they're trying to lure us with a bonus of 150% for working extra shifts -gone were the fat days of 300% extra- and I thought I can need that extra for my forthcoming holiday in Hong Kong/Macau/Japan. (see next post)
Me: "yeah I'd like to work extra shifts, every day till week 26, starting from tomorrow on"
Planning: "Ok, I have planned you tonight, Thursday, Friday and Saturday..."
Me: "Waoh! Wait a minute I said starting of tomorrow, not tonight!
Geez, she wanted me to work when The Netherlands vs Argentina is on! There is a reason why no one wants to work that evening shift...
And this so called 'oops, I've misheard you' trick I've heard often enough from this woman :p
