DAY OF REST. NO E-WORDS HERE.

Hmm. It has been an interesting few days.

The latest thing: I have discovered that all my life I have been quite wrong about migraines. I thought migraines had to include visual disturbances. Dad always had that kind of thing. I thought anything else was just a bad headache. Only, on discussing such things with Anwar yesterday, apparently not. Having looked it up on wikipedia, apparently many of these things that I have been classifying as 'really bad headaches' are actually probably migraines. This makes me feel slightly less pathetic for going 'oh, walk slower, it makes my head hurt more,' because apparently this happens to other people too. So yay for that.

On Wednesday, I was only saved from missing an exam by the bedders, who came in to empty my bin at twenty past nine. After a blurry thought that they were incredibly early to have arrived before my alarm, which was set for half past seven, I looked at the clock. And found my glasses, and looked again, and no, really, that is twenty past nine, I do have an exam in ten minutes; shit.

Yes. I got dressed and made it to the exam only ten minutes late, but did spend the first few minutes sitting down wondering 'am I properly dressed? did I lock my door?' and other such things. Not a pleasant start to the day.

As well as being late, I missed out on the extra hour and a half of revision I'd planned, and unfortunately things I'd planned to look over once more came up. And I didn't know them. And I have probably done terribly. In addition, yesterday's exam was awful. It was quite comical to see everyones' expressions as they came out of the exam room; at least it makes me feel a little better for having done so badly.

Anyway. Today is ordained a Day Of Rest because my next exam is on Thursday, and I am tired. I am also anxiously waiting on e-mails from some maths project supervisors so that I know it's ok to go ahead and submit my preferences - I don't have the prerequisites, but I do have similar modules from the Physics department: I thought it would probably be polite to check that's ok before signing up.

Pic'n'mix, a good book, and my lovely snuggly bed. YAY.
