Crystallography is SO BORING. Oh goodness is it boring. Did I mention that it's BORING? Hmm? Did I? Did I witter on about this at great length yesterday? I think I did. Because it is SO BORING.
Ahem. Yes. That was good to get out. Seriously, dude, aaaaaaaaargh at it. I think the reason I so badly dislike the Crystals, Vibrations and X-rays part compared to the other two is that it involves so many silly little diagrams, and they're so fiddly and irritating and I can never see which bits are important, and when it comes to revision, I'm stuck to know how to revise these without drawing them out all over again, which seems pointless. They can't be summarised into a series of equations, theorems and lemmas like maths can. And I don't like it.
Plus the lecturer was a complete tosser. An utter, irredeemable wanker who used to screech his chalk down the blackboard on purpose just to upset people. Bastard.
...anyway. I realised quite randomly last night that the bio on my profile page was still telling people that I study Physics. Clearly this merits and entire hour of re-writing it. Ahem. Yes.
I had better return to that pesky CVX then, yes. Maybe I'll give up and do something more interesting for a bit, like Linear Algebra. Hmm. My life is so rock'n'roll at the moment.
