Excuses
So I've been horribly neglecting my computer for the last few weeks. First, it was because of Burningman, though I was still somewhat able to keep up with my friends's journals and such, but ever since we got back (on the 7th), I've been incredibly busy and exhausted and not nearly getting as much done as I would like.
So my birthday has come and passed. I'm 25 now. I started my new job on the 12th, and so far things are good, if not a little slow. Today was slow, and I was bored... but I'm getting paid well and pretty soon I'll get trained on more things and it will pick up again.
Jess's birthday was last weekend, and Bucky and I went up to Sac to celebrate with everyone. It was fun, though with little to eat and too much to drink, Bucky and I were out early.
Next weekend the plan is to go to the zoo with Tony and Amanda. We don't plan much for the weekdays anymore, since both Bucky and I are exhausted by the time we get off of work. I need to get into a routine, get used to waking up early and going to work all day, and get back to the gym in the evenings.
But not tonight. I think I'm going to curl up in bed and read. I just finished (finally!) the Da Vinci Code (which, by the way, I loved... thank you Jeffrey, if you read this) and am now starting Angels & Demons. I'll probably fall asleep early though. I'm beat. G'night.
